Game Cyte: Caster Review

While the graphics and sounds of "Caster" scream "indie title," the gameplay is much more big-budget. A cross of "Mega Man" and "Magic Carpet," "Caster" is a unique, adrenaline pumping game in the booming indie market. It may be short, but at only $10 and with at least one more promised chapter in the saga, fans of old-school arcade shooters and fast-paced action titles should not pass it up.

Mobot - Caster Review

Mobot - It might be almost two years old, but Caster remains one of my favourite iPhone games to date. Sure, it’s not perfect, but there are genuine “holy crap!” moments where it’s hard to believe you’re not playing a £20 game on a PSP.

GamesRadar: Caster Review

Oddly, Caster could have been far more interesting. Two of the beams let you either remove or add to the terrain, Populous-style, and your enormous jumps lead to reality-rippling landings. Had any of this been used beyond getting a couple of orbs out of some liquid, it might have had a hook. As it is, the whole game is so elementary as to barely distract.

Game Tunnel: Caster Review

Game Tunnel writes: "If you're looking for a game that's a little faster-paced than most, then Caster will speak to you. Flashy gunfights? Check. Super fast speeds and crazy jumps? Check. Frenzied combat with nasty enemies? Check. A main character with blue hair? Check (of course). It's the makings of a wonderfully put-together action game."
