PlayStation just posted about Bloodborne on its Italian Instagram account with the hashtag #PS5... anyone else getting their hopes up?
If FromSoftware's Bloodborne ever gets a sequel—and that's a big if—it won't be able to simply pick up where its predecessor left off.

but u can still continue it on and subsequently end it for good.
I wonder if they could do a prequal where you play as part of the first hunt and see the blood research and the downfall of the healing church and the remaining hunters.
That is a super great idea, I would 1000% pay full price for this! Only if Miyazaki directed, obviuosly. Bloodborne hooked me in a way Dark Souls never did.

I disagree, within 6 months the remake will be announced, it’ll be out in 2026 or the end of this year.
I don't know why they'd do something 3 years after the fact unless it represented some new conflict of interest though.

A prominent former PlayStation executive has discussed the future of Bloodborne, stating that everyone is likely waiting on Miyazaki.
This has been stated many times. Everyone keeps blaming Sony but it is in fact up to when Miyazaki is 'Not Busy'.
I'll believe it when Sony PS announces it.
I'm gonna go ahead and get my hopes up.
Sony has been really weird this generation, but I refuse to believe they're going to just shrug and pass on Bloodborne.
I might get crushed, but it's worth it for hoping on Bloodborne.
It would be cool if it was a sequel to the first co- developed by From and Sony using one of Sony's proprietary game engines. I'd take a remake demons souls style.
It’s amazing how many gamers want this game and this would be easy money. I don’t know what’s taking Sony so long. Just make it 60FPS and upres. Release it on PS5 than later again at full price for PC
