"The Watford-based (the UK) indie games publisher Wired Productions and Newcastle-based (the UK) indie games developer Nosebleed Interactive, today announced with great joy and thrill that the VR version of “Arcade Paradise” (“Arcade Paradise VR“), is now available for PCVR (via Steam) and PSVR 2 (via PSN) worldwide." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Console Obsession says: "The flat-screen version of Arcade Paradise brilliantly transported players to the neon arcade landscape of the 90s, offering you the experience of managing your own arcade. Given its quality, it was intriguing to see what the additional immersion of VR would add to the experience. Arcade Paradise is an arcade management game focused on fun ahead of serious simulation. You play as Ashley, who decides to transform their dad's mundane laundromat into an exciting arcade."
Arcade Paradise has just seen its release on the PSVR2 and we got our Arcade Paradise superfan to review it!
"The Watford-based (the UK) indie games publisher Wired Productions and Newcastle-based (the UK) indie games developer Nosebleed Interactive, today announced with great joy and thrill that the VR version of "Arcade Paradise" ("Arcade Paradise VR"), is coming to PCVR and PSVR 2 on August 8th, 2024 (as revealed at the 2024 edition of the Upload VR showcase)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Content like this that makes you question why more people arent lining up to drop £400 on a VR headset.
Pay for premium headset and 90% of what you get is lower than Wii quality motion games. Even Wii motion games had some effort. It was the lack of support from AAA studios that killed VR. Plain and simple.
Nice nice
Seems like the selection of games is being hailed as great. And the larger world where you have to build a laundromat into an arcade is well done. A bit like Pixel Ripped.
