Ghost of Tsushima is legendary. Absolutely love that game.

What I would give for a proper Tenchu like Wrath of Heaven or Fatal Shadows again.

I already answered this question. 😃

Cool. Just for reference Return From Darkness was an Original Xbox game port of Wrath of Heaven. Return from Darkness had everything Wrath of Heaven had with additional two extra playable single player levels and additional story cutscenes. I have been playing Return from Darkness on my portable Steam Deck with the original xbox emulator

Return from Darkness is a superior port of wrath of heaven. You dont want wrath of heaven. You want Return from Darkness

DarXyde300d ago

Eh. I had a blast with Wrath of Heaven. Absolutely loved that game.

A superior port is nice and all, but I loved the original just fine. 🙂

Vengeful Guardian Moonrider should have been on the list.

I really like odallus from the same devs too, talented folk

Very good list. I have all but 3 of the games listed. It's tragic that Mimimi had to close its doors. Even though I did get the expansion, I would've loved to have seen a Shadow Tactics 2 from them.

SimpleSlave303d ago

Another OK list from this site with MASSIVE omissions as usual. Like, where the fudge is Nioh? Any of the Shadow Warrior games? How about Wo Long? The Ninja Saviors Return? Any of the Batman games? American Ninja Warrior? C'mon!!!

Regardless, at least Sekiro is here - THE Ninja game, not just of that gen, but of all times. Hoping for a sequel at some point. Probably right after Bloodborne 2... So never. Awesome.

At least one thing is clear though. If you were a fan of ninjas and ninja games during last gen, you had it good.

Ghost of Tsushima really surprised me on how good it was. I think it deserves more appreciation then what it has now and that’s saying a lot because it’s already highly regarded.
Top 10 favorite game for me and I played 100’s.

I Owe You An Apology, Hideo Kojima, I Wasn't Familiar With Your Game

Hideo Kojima and PlayStation go together like hobbits and breakfasts. That is to say, they're meant to be together, but they're also happy to serve up a PC port or afternoon tea if the time is right. Kojima's long-time collaboration with Sony means it always feels odd to see his name next to an Xbox logo, like Master Chief appearing on your PS5 or glimpsing your teacher in the big Tesco doing her weekly shop.

Good to see people coming around.

yawn. ^ All of this opinion piece sounds like someone’s recount when they get out of the norm and go on a hiking vacation and boast about their “life changing moments” over things extremely common and accessible to everyone. Get a rocket ship and take some selfies already. jezzus .

Anybody else gave up reading a few paragraphs in?

If you missed out on old games it’s nothing to apologize for. Just the way life goes sometimes. We can’t access everything in our short lives.
