I wouldn't be at all surprised to see many of these games return on PS+.

I wish they'd re release those ultimate alliance games. I'd buy both of them. I missed them on ps4 unfortunately. If only they'd have released them physically

ChasterMies274d ago

Is this a list of the best marvel games on PS2 or a list of all the marvel games on PS2?

QuantumMechanic274d ago

I'd say neither; it's a partial list of some of the PS2 games, with mixed quality.

P_Bomb274d ago

I’ve owned almost all these, lol! Still have a handful on disc. Good times.

I've always wanted to play The Punisher

If you can, you should. I think the type of gameplay still holds up.

Video Games That Will Never Release Again

Some games you just know are going to stand the test of time, being released and re-released multiple times over the years, or will simply have a legacy that’s built to endure. Meanwhile, there are other games that, for whatever reason, are simply never coming back.

Aye..this is why Emulation is important.

The Punisher was soo damn good. Nailed Garth Ennis take on the character very well. For me still one of the best comic book adaptions ever made.

neutralgamer1992110d ago

Punisher and Simpsons both should get remakes. That's easy money for whoever does it

Demetrius110d ago

I might have to order punisher for my ps2 soon, I watched gameplay it looks good

Terry_B110d ago

If you like the character, even read some of the comics you might like the game a lot. It was an excellent third person shooter with many nice ideas that fit Frank and even had a nice story full with characters from the Garth Ennis run

Where is NOLF!
That they couldn’t find a way to work out the legal stuff to bring it back is one of the greatest tragedies in gaming history.

JunonZanon110d ago

A Hit and Run remake or even remaster would be dope.

-Foxtrot110d ago

Especially if they create one giant expanded map over hubs.

TricksterArrow110d ago

Def Jam. Great and fun game they will never be re-released. There is just no way to secure all the copyrights for the tracks, voices and likenesses used in this game.

You can stream Heavenly Sword via PS Plus Premium.

hiawa23109d ago

Streaming PS3 games to PS5 is not good which is why my PS3 is still connected. I hope you know that, but thanks for chiming in.

Knushwood Butt100d ago

Well, I played through the campaign of Resistance 3 via streaming and it was pretty good.

hiawa23109d ago

And before someone states the obvious of streaming PS3 games to PS5. Um, no, streaming PS3 games is pretty bad.

I've played nearly every game listed in this article. If I remember correctly, I think the Punisher was the bloodiest.

Bad PS2 Games That Were Good the Whole Time, Actually

There have been plenty of games over the years that have been poorly reviewed at the time, only to receive a more positive reassessment from fans and/or critics either at the time or when looking back, and the PlayStation 2 is no different.

Ha! Mentioned shadow of Rome… what a sick sick game. Loved it

Judge Dredd is awesome. An untapped goldmine as far as games and movies go. I like Dredd vs Death even though it was janky and low budget.
