Nice to see these comparisons to really see the extra details going on in the Switch 2 version.

Tacoboto24d ago

Yeah, next I'm excited to see how the 120fps mode holds up and how they do it.

Profchaos23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

Yeah I'm excited to try that with a mouse mode I think it'll really change the feel shooters in general.

It'll finally be what I wanted 30 years ago on the SNES with Doom but Metroid and maybe doom when they inevitable port it to switch 2

As impressive as these comparisons are... Im still a bit disappointed that the SW2 version on the card wont actually be the SW2 version. In other threads it was revealed that it will be the SW1 version on the card but include a DLC voucher for the upgrade. So you get a SW2 upgrade packaging with an SW2 upgrade voucher but an SW1 card inside.

LAME.

DodoDojo24d ago

That might not be the case, people are getting conflicting info from Nintendo support.

That's wrong and been debunked

Neonridr22d ago

actually the upgrade apparently is included on the cart too.

thesoftware73024d ago

There is a very noticeable difference.

I will get a Switch 2 on the back of this game alone, but there are a few other games that I'm looking forward to as well.

repsahj24d ago

Mee too!! I will get the Mario Kart bundle and this game!

Jin_Sakai24d ago (Edited 24d ago )

Man I can’t wait! This, Mario Kart World, and Donkey Kong Bananza. On top of that Zelda BotW & TotK upgrades at 60fps

meganick24d ago

It would be nice if they announced a release date.

Looks good. Unfortunate that right now as it stands if you factor in the game cost... its going to be a 500+ dollar purchase to play an enhanced switch game if I go for switch 2 right now, as I am not a mario kart guy and most of the other things shown are on other machines. UPCOMING later games do look good though - Just that because I dont usually game outside of the house - the PS portal has a 8-10 hour battery life and is powered on the back end by a PS5 pro ( in my case) and if you have a good home network its awesome (Ive never had it stutter - but I have heard it can if the router is old - hasnt happened to me so far.

Neonridr22d ago

you are talking about a 500 dollar setup negatively and then using a 200 dollar portal coupled with a 700 dollar Pro as your basis for comparison.

Interesting.
