Given Cloud Imperium, if they target 2025 end, they might be able to actually ship that part of the Star Citizen package by 2026 end. And that's enough for many interested who just wants to enjoy the single-player part of it.

At least Squadron 42 will be released in a year or 2.. unlike the mmo Star Citizen it will take a very long time
Wait till you see people buying Squadron 42 on Consoles too after pc, what will you say then?
Sqn 42 was announced in 2012. Feature complete in 2023 and supposedly release in 2026. People have been waiting for this for 14 years and it will never live up to the hype. It is a money making machine for the company rather than a game.
If only we get Squadron 42 in 2025!
