GamesRadar+: "Stellar Blade is more ambitious and varied than expected, but also about as clunky as expected, resulting in a stilted action RPG with a level of jank that you just have to accept. Meet it on its terms, and either tune out or embrace the odd sexual veneer, and it's a solid 20 to 30 hours of fun."
Stellar Blade arrives on PC and the results are, well, stellar.
Following the success of PS5 and PC, Shift Up are also targeting new platforms.
Not shocking it was announce as a multiplatform game before Sony threw money at them.
I thankful for PearlAbyss(korean dev) rejected sony cash for CrimsonDesert, so everyone can enjoy their game.
It's a Shift Up game so they can put it wherever they want once the PS5 exclusivity is up.
Makes sense, a Nintendo release will help with sales in JP and at worse add a few hundred thousand sales globally.

Should be possible without any issues.
Good, another 3rd party game sony paid to keep xbox players from playing. Lets hope the xbox port is not far off after switch.
Even Shift Up admits Stellar Blade's story isn't the best, and also confirmed the in-development story DLC has now been shifted to the sequel.
Good to see the devs acknowledge it. Thoguht the gameplay was fun but I could really care less for Eve or any of the characters. Hopefully the sequel will give Eve actual personality.
I thought it was a decent enough but there is room for improvement for sure. There were a few good side quest stories hidden in there, so hopefully they add more of those in the next game.
I like devs who are self critical. That means they want to be better so they can make a better game and that’s music to my ears. .
Maybe thats true, but thats okay. Strength exists because of weakness, and vice versa.
I honestly found the demo to be a little too parry focused without much alternatives. Having to do multiple parries is kinda just exhausting and not fun for me.
Odd sexual veneer???
Maybe the writer is the odd one.
"One moment the camera treats her as an unserious sex object for players to gawk at, and in the next the story presents her as a serious character whose entire arc revolves around her own sense of agency."
I know I have now aged out of this games target audience, but this is one of my biggest gripes with games of this nature. If you are trying to strike a serious tone, then don't make a virtual sex doll. Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball leaned into the goofy/overtly sexualized aspects of the game. Forcing that into a serious medium is just clunky at best
