Neil writes : Cartel Tycoon is now on Xbox and PlayStation. Can you handle the money, the power, the fame?
Games Asylum: "Presumably to prevent angering an entire continent, it’s never revealed where Cartel Tycoon takes place – even though it’s glaringly obvious. The same applied to the Tropico series, clearly inspired by the Cuban lifestyle but instead falling back on the term ‘banana republic’. There’s fair reasoning behind this, with the writers of The Simpsons once under fire for the Brazilian stereotype rampant episode ‘Blame it on Lisa’. Brazil’s tourism board even stepped in after being angered by the depictions of crime. Cartel Tycoon takes place somewhere imaginary, and you can’t prove otherwise."
Good idea for a game much like Tropico but it feels empty by the mid game since you basically did everything
NoobFeed Kurtis Seid writes - Cartel Tycoon is mostly for people who want a fun and gritty theme to their city management, even if it is at the cost of overall gameplay. As it stands, the game needs more onboarding and a better user interface instead of just throwing players to the wolves.
