Watch EA sell you this game piece by piece over the next 8 years. It should have the fundamentals right off, like weather/seasons, pets and children, and the ability to have apartments, but I’m sure it won’t. They would have a better and more successful game from the start and fans would rejoice. EA could then sell tons of cosmetics and new item packs and still make millions but instead greed will prevail and they’ll paywall basic gameplay elements. Such is the industry these days, it’s sad and hard to get excited about the new version of that game you like when you know it’s riddled with MTX and greedy corporate dev tactics to sell you a $200 game.

"denuvo to protect the dlc's" the amount of dlc for SIMS 4 is disgusting, SIMS 5 is gonna be another bare bones experience with stuff packs and expansions up the wazoo.

PRIMORDUS63d ago

The amount of Sims 4 DLC you can get for free if you know where to look hehe.

Makes me glad games like Paralives are coming out to replace The Sims, because apparently EA is now too incompetent to make a game that's even as good as The Sims 3

If the author wants a game with mental health mechanics, maybe they should go make one.

GameBoyColor446d ago

Just play zomboid for your mental health kick. Has plenty of ways to deal with it including getting eaten by zombies before the dread takes over.

MaximusTKG446d ago

Nope. Don’t want that. I’ve got enough real world problems. Thanks though.

Inverno446d ago

Are you sure you want this? The Sims has always been a game that does almost everything with a comedic touch. If the Sim with down syndrome starts breakdancing Twitter will lose their sensitive minds.
