Oh damn, I thought they were announcing a game. It's a long shot but maybe this could lead to further interest in the story and then hopefully a game in the future.
Embracer is supposed to be working on a sequel, remaster, remake, etc. for Soul Reaver. They asked fans if they wanted it and said they heard the interest in it afterward, and that something would be coming. Hopefully that's still the case, considering they seemed to have bit off more than they could chew buying up everything in sight.
The way Embracer has been handling things, I doubt they're greenlighting anything that isn't seen as being a sure thing success.
I mean i guess it could be cool to see more of what Raziel was like before, Kain turned him.

I really enjoyed Vampyr. The combat is a little clunky and could use some work. However, the story, characters, dialog. setting, and pretty much everything else in the game is great.
