Helldivers 2 needs to focus on Terminids if it wants to succeed

Helldivers 2 players think the game needs to ditch robots in favor of Terminids in order for the game to remain popular.

This. Also article doesn't make sense. You can play on Terminid controlled worlds all you want. You don't even have to fight the robots if you don't want to. But the variety is there. This is fake.

It's already succeeded.. if it want to keep people playing it needs to add more meaningful content.. more factions more guns more enemy types more lore!
I am at L37 but not played it in a couple of weeks as it's got a bit stale! The mechs was ok but need more

I still trying to figure out how that would work 🤔 the whole game is based on team work, strategy, and Co-operative play. Not a run and gun like shooter like Call of Duty

It wouldn't work in Helldivers 2. Just play COD or Halo or others shooters with pvp. The Steam community is already against pvp in Helldivers 2. I can't speak on the Playstation community or how they feel about it.

How does less factions translate into more success? Makes no sense. No you can't just play the exact same way as the bugs and expect to be successful against bots.

Bots are fun. Variety in an online game is never bad.

With my group we run both. Typically we switch the composition of our stratagems and weapons as a group. Saying the Automatons are too hard is basically saying "I don't understand how to fight them" or you just can't get a team coordinated. We always drop a massive bombardment of airstrikes and orbital bombardments from all fronts and approach in two's from opposite ends. Call your targets off in the distance so you can place some turrets and shut down one front. Also...the game is supposed to be challenging, and it's okay if you don't win every single time.
