Same here! Parts I & Part II are awesome. Yes, I was a little annoyed by what happened to Joel in Part 2, but I think that made the progression of the story better. No matter what the haters say, the game is a masterpiece. I also plan to replay part 2 on the PS5 version when it goes on sale.
So those fans who love part one and dislike part 2 are now hatets? I am sorry that some gamers demand that the game treat it's story and characters according to the boundaries the game itself set in the 1st game
No one has a issue with Joel being killed within the story people have issue with the way they handled it. But like you said it's a masterpiece and we are just haters because that's fits the narrative better
1st game is a true masterpiece and doesn't need a sequel (for me personally) just like RDR is a perfect game for me and doesn't need a sequel

I didn't see the need to buy the PS5 version of the game because a 60 fps patch was already out on PS4. Hopefully the people who got the remastered version found some value in it.
If im not mistaken, there's also a 4k patch to it? Along with the other mode, i forgot. Too bad i was actually looking forward to factions 2.0
The 60fps patch in the PS4 version lacks the 4K res and additional texture upgrades.
The biggest upgrade of remastered version over original is it loads much faster and the 4K fidelity mode is insanely crisp and pristine.
The greatest series of games for me. And i dont say that lightly, some of the biggest titles to ever grace the screen are right up there but I thoroughly enjoyed TLOU1&2

I mean yeah we have known for a while now and this just validates it more. Nothing official yet but... c'mon let's not play dumb here. I'm more interested in the other titles tho, i wonder what those are.

Since most PS4 titles are coming to PC (except Bloodborne, duh) ... would like if they port Shadowfall, 1886, Second Son and Uncharted trilogy to PC as well.
The game released on ps4 without any modern raytracing or frame gen shenanigans and looked fantastic so I'm sure it'll run just fine

A bit aside of the topic, but having such a strong year of PS games on PC this year, I'm very happy I moved from Playstation to PC permanently. I'd like to revisit these games later with even faster hardware and higher refresh rate, the Sony titles are just something else.
I did buy a PS5 to access the PS4 library. Another reason I bought a PS5 was actually the save files on all the games. I downloaded all my PS+ cloud saves years later as they were still there on the cloud, and actually bought Horizon Zero Dawn DLC and am going through it now. Still looks phenomenal on PS5 and am looking forward to Forbidden West on PC as well as Ghost of Tsushima.
Not buying the PS5 or the PC games because I somehow "support Sony", but just because the games are really good (1-2 level higher always than competitors multiplatform titles) and I had practical reasons for buying a PS5 (access to my massive library, thousands of hours of playtime on my save files, and upgraded resolution and performance of the games I owned.)
How long di you think it will be before Sony releases all of its games on PC and PS5 at the same time?
Since they don't have any 1st party games coming out this year I think it may start with their first title next year.

I'll have to upgrade soon. Pretty sure it won't run on my laptop with an Intel Iris Xe GPU and only 128MB VRAM, lol
