IGN: Weekly Best-selling PC Games
Market research company NPD Group has released its list of best-selling PC games for the week of December 28 – January 3, 2008. This week is a momentous one for The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, which managed to dethrone Wrath of the Lich King. Until this past week, Blizzard’s highly-popular MMO expansion was the reigning champ ever since its November release. However, while Wrath of the Lich King was knocked off its throne, the original World of Warcraft did manage to reappear in the top 10.
