PS5 exclusive Pacific Drive is a remarkable and unique experience, but its targeted performance of 4K 30fps is frustrating players.
Total sales for Pacific Drive have surpassed one million units, publisher Kepler Interactive and developer Ironwood Studios announced.
Wow that’s great for a game like this. I bought it at launch. I’ll go back after the next update
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Even if it is still technically one of the younger art forms out there, video gaming is no longer in its infancy. It has well over 50 years of history and most of its biggest franchises are old enough to be married with kids. At this point there's inevitably some predictability to the games that are made, some "been there, done that" that can occasionally make an otherwise well put together game feel dull. But this category is for celebrating the games that go against that and still insist on pushing the envelope, rather than adhering to a well-established blueprint."
We talk about Best Game Feel for day three of our Game of the Year 2024 shinding!
1440p at 60 > 4k at 30
the fact that this isn't locked @ 30fps means they should have given us a 60fps mode.
Didn't notice the 30 fps, but didn't notice the 4k either.
The physical copy comes out in April I believe. Hopefully by the time I get the game they patch in some other options. I’m not totally turned off by 4k 30fps as I have played some games in fidelity mode but I like to have the options to choose for myself.
60 fps or bust
