UK Sales Charts: Helldivers 2 Holds Firm While Skull and Bones Sails into the Top 10

The UK's latest boxed games chart is in, and it's been invaded by a couple of new releases to shake things up. Nintendo's latest Switch exclusive predictably takes the top spot, knocking Hogwarts Legacy back down to second place. Ubisoft is also back in the bestsellers list with Skull and Bones, the online pirate action title that was in development for a thousand years. It's sailed into fourth place, which isn't a bad debut for a game everyone seems to have written off.

Don't expect that to last. I believe all of the physical copies of HD2 are sold out as they didn't think it would sell as well as it did. In fact, it probably would have done more if there was stock.

Skull n Bones was 4th. Helldivers was 7th.

And Helldivers increased sales. I guess S&B is doing well in spite of the vitriol.

Because it's a big name title from a big studio. What else released. Legend of school steel 3 and 4 for ps5. While legend of heroes is my cup of tea it was never gonna outsell skull and bones. Shame though. They put their hearts into legend of heroes games.

Why though it's a Nintendo first party game. Nostalgia alone would make it a top seller. Then all the parents buying it for their kids like look kids this is what we grew up with, etc.
