This seafaring RPG has a great foundation, despite feeling like a live-service first draft.

Should have just remade Sid Meier's Pirates! with the Black Flag engine. Sea battles, boarding and capturing forts. Add ship/crew management, goods trading and romance and it would have been a classic.
