Platform holders are supposed to enter into contracts with publishers/studios to have new games made for their platform. That's how the industry thrives. It is Microsoft and it's desire own and control every industry it has a presence that has resulted in them buying 2 of the largest publishers in gaming. A fraction of that 79 billion could have gone to create new games that add to the total games being made industry wide which benefits all gamers.
