These super hard PS1 games drove some kids crazy back in the 1990s, even if you wouldn't think it from a quick glance at their box art.
This peripheral is ghostly good.
Xenomorph, a spiritual successor from the Atari Jaguar Alien vs Predator game has been announced from developer Athena Worlds.
AvP on the Jag was pretty ambitious for the time. I always wondered what a smoother (faster) frame rate would have done for that game. nice to see a spiritual sequel is in the works after all these years.
Today, popular control peripheral manufacturer Virpil made the CDT-Aeromax flight stick available for pre-order.
It can't hold a candle to the QuickShot II Turbo with its gorgeous red and black decoy.
The list
Driver
Skullmonkeys
Heart of darkness
Crash bandicoot
Einhander
Alundra
King’s field
Fear effect 2; retro helix
Tomb raider 3
Rayman
I’m not going to lie, I’ve never beat rayman as a kid or a teen. Last time I really tried rayman I was 19 and still didn’t collect all the lums. Evil Mr dark conquered my land for many years. 😢
Yes. Driver’s tutoring level is ridiculous.
I played Fear Effect 2 when it first came out, and don’t recall it being that difficult. If anything, it was a lot easier than the first and less frustrating as the loading times were greatly reduced.
Rayman I played in the Gameboy advance and never bothered to finish it.
I don’t think Einhander is one of the hardest PS1 games of all time. It’s not easy, sure, but I beat it and, to put context behind that, I barely beat any shmups.
Rayman belongs on that list..the others don't
Sorta expected the original Valkyrie Profile on here. Although a lot of that might have been wading through a lot of mechanics not surfaced in the most elegant way.
