VGChartz's Issa Maki: "Make no mistake: Catan is one of the greatest games of the 20th century, but this isn't an instance of putting its best foot forward. Even overlooking the performance issues, there's too much to ignore: the non-functioning online multiplayer (which is perfectly fine on home consoles), restricted access to DLC, the lack of Switch-exclusive utility. Any of these would be detrimental, and together they're three bullets inside of a six-round chamber. There's roughly a 50/50 chance you might get what you want here, but results will vary greatly."
