Amazon has had multiple restocks, its not "that" hard to get one.
Got mine from Best Buy, I was actually impressed by their anti-bot tactics as you need to hold down the mouse button for a few seconds to prove your human. Not sure if you can program a long hold mouse click?

It could be a lot of "I don't want it, it's a silly idea" to
"It's selling out, I can't have it, so I want it."
I still find it an outdated device that creates a problem it didn't need to solve. With remote play being a thing and controller clips for your phone or tablet. There isn't a need for a dedicated device such as this.
