I do have to give it to MK8 and Smash Bros. Ultimate for being the all-around best of their respective franchises. The amount of content both have is astounding. Especially with MK8's final round of courses.

DarXyde531d ago (Edited 531d ago )

It really makes you wonder where they go from here.

Feels like you either port them (again in the case of MK8) or reboot the franchises.

I reckon Nintendo will find a way to prove me wrong. They're far more creative than I am.

Yi-Long531d ago

I hope they’d just keep building on what they have now. New characters and courses from other Nintendo IPs, perhaps even guest IPs from other companies (Sega, Capcom, etc) which we have had in Smash.

Also, a track-creation builder would be really nice, TBH.

MrBlais531d ago

Agreed 100%. However, I wouldn’t mind another round of courses (especially in the battle arenas) and maybe some more karts? I think they’ve done enough for sure, but that section is seriously lacking in comparison, not to be greedy or anything. Like DarXyde said, “where do they go from here.”

The DLC booster to me seems to be mostly a greatest hits collection of mk tour which is fine I particularly loved Sydney and I'm glad we got them but the original tracks that were added felt like the real highlights

Agent75531d ago

The new tracks are average. Although I'm not a fan of the city tracks. Weird how Nintendo has done that.

Profchaos530d ago (Edited 530d ago )

I actually like them especially Sydney it felt charmingly accurate to the real thing without gridlock traffic and far less dingy and smelly but designs are accurate and scale feels right layout is obviously entirely made up but things are typically next to each other accurately enough

Wow you weren't kidding. Ninty really thinks they're so special they can just ignore "complete edition" pricing standards. They milk their fan base for every nickel smh

FinalFantasyFanatic254d ago

Nintendo and their crappy pricing scheme at it again.
