Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon has been announced to be getting an official soundtrack.
Nintendo and PlatinumGames explain how Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon came to be as part of a new interview.
While the two Bayonetta titles were developed in tandem, neither PlatinumGames or Nintendo knew which would release first. Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya said this was the situation even in the middle of development on these titles, and Nintendo’s Makoto Okazaki mentioned that Nintendo was trying to figure out which title should arrive first.
CCG writes - "As I played through Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, I was wondering whom this game was meant for. The emotions that I felt playing through the 13 or so hours it took me to see the credits was that of playing many Nintendo games. I feel if Nintendo made a Bayonetta game purely in-house, this would have been the result. Bayonetta Origins feels the most Nintendo-like of the series by a significant margin."
