The word “longevity” has been in my vocabulary a lot recently, as I’ve been sinking in quite literally hundreds of hours into Baldur’s Gate 3. The game will undoubtedly be something I return to down the road over and over, like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. They all have something special, and revisiting them is a major dip into nostalgia. Not to mention there are new things for me to discover each time I play … even though I end up going through with the same romances a lot of the time.
Fire Emblem Engage is well-suited to a Fire Emblem Warriors adaptation, and the ideal time for its release is fast approaching.
I recently started playing Three Hopes again. Its one of my favorite Warrior games up there with the likes of Ken's Rage 2, DW Gundam 3 & Hyrule Warriors. I'd buy a FE Engage themed Warrior game in a heartbeat.
Kotaku: "It was another great year for making the numbers go up and romancing our favorite NPCs."
Fire Emblem Engage Original Soundtrack revealed with standard edition and limited edition. Pre-orders are open now.
The jokes about colgate-chan lasted longer
The gameplay is the best in the business but Engage banked so much on nostalgic appeal that I never felt anything more than Fire Emblem Heroes on steroids vibes from the marketing.
Fire Emblem does benefit from nostalgia but to rely on it completely is irritating
I really liked this a lot. It didn’t hit as hard for me as Three Houses, but I’m super happy it was made.
Felt like nobody talked about this game at all after a day or two lol.
