PlayStation Plus Just Quietly Released the Chillest Space Exploration Game

'Elite Dangerous' lets you live any kind of life you want in space. From dogfights with pirates to peaceful science missions, there's an option for every playstyle.

anast563d ago

This is a great space exploration game.

Markdn563d ago

Shame it's no longer supported though, :(

anast563d ago

A revive might be needed.

MrNinosan563d ago (Edited 563d ago )

What do you mean by quietly?
They announced it last week along the other games that was released yesterday on PS+ Extra/Premium.

GamerRN562d ago

They are trying to make it look like a casual drop, while trying to make it look like it outshines Starfield.

ModsDoBetter563d ago

Great game, sadly abandoned by the developers due to the different version it ran compared to PC.

Plenty of hours to be had, we just miss out on a bunch of cool features and story development compared to PC players.

raWfodog563d ago

I was bummed when they announced they wouldn’t be bringing Odyssey to consoles. That was when I really began losing active interest in the game. Up until then, I already had about 800 hours invested in the game.

PunksOnN4G563d ago

Nah I'm good this the dev team that had console plans then decided not to and only work on the PC version why would I support a trash company

z2g563d ago (Edited 563d ago )

its ok. its def a pc game that made its way to console randomly. been out for a few years so its not exactly "new".

Saw that Balatro got over 100000! Reviews on Steam. Crazy.

Only game from these three I care about is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun since it seems to be a nice fps.

darthv723d ago

boltgun is pretty damn fun... I have it on my steamdeck and it is crazy good.

DefenderOfDoom23d ago

I bought Warhammer Boltgun for the PS4. Very fun retro style FPS !

Damn, I thought the Until Dawn Remake was going to be one. Not a month for me.

S2Killinit2d ago

Pretty good month for me though. I would say great.

Tacoboto2d ago

The developer of the remake has already been effectively shut down, too.

Yui_Suzumiya3d ago

Boltgun is so much fun. I own it on Steam, PS4 and Switch (Physical). Beaten it so many times that I could probably get through it in my sleep, lol.

MaximusPrime_23d ago

Strange why people disagree with me. Probably they are illiterate or just fanboys who hates PS.

Anyway, the articles clearly said it and I just saved you a click. Thanks Moegooner for the list of countries

Mmmkay23d ago

Or maybe there is a difference between south America and Latin America..

With these reckless trade wars going on, expect videogames to keep getting more expensive.

babadivad23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

Switch prices were locked in before the Tarrifs. They just conveniently used the tarrifs as an excuse to calm outrage.

PSN is a digital service and isn't subjected to any kind of tarrifs.

They have been trying to find a way to increase the price for years.

Don't let them trick you into blaming tarrifs for corporate greed.

crazyCoconuts23d ago

When I look at Brazil, the increased price for PS Essential new users annually is equivalent to $61 USD, monthly is $7.50 USD. In the US it's more expensive. Just an observation that maybe they've been getting a better deal all along.

BeHunted23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

"Just an observation that maybe they've been getting a better deal all"

No, not every country has the same average salary as the United States. When releasing games and consoles, pricing should be based on the local economy and wages, which are often very different from those in the U.S

crazyCoconuts23d ago

"When releasing games and consoles, pricing should be based on the local economy and wages"
So companies should sell consoles at a large loss in impoverished countries?

Sony is run by imbeciles unfortunately

Zenzuu23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

In your own words.

*All are welcome to Switch 2. Microsoft Games Studios is interested in long term profits and market value not petty fanboy thoughts.*

Now, I'll change some of it.

Show us on the doll where sony touched you

anast23d ago

They have to keep up with Nintendo's prices.

Michiel198923d ago

yes they decided on this in a week, it can't be that they were planning it anyway, it couldn't have been. Not from your favourite company.

anast23d ago

It's strange. It's like you read the words, but you don't have the ability to understand them.

ARESWARLORD23d ago

I already find it to be a terrible value. Go ahead and up the price and 100% lose me.

andy8522d ago (Edited 22d ago )

Not saying a price increase is good but I'm paying £8 a month for access to 1000 games. That's absolutely not terrible value

ARESWARLORD20d ago

How many of those games are you actually playing
