Regardless of the outcome, today's review comes from a place of love. You see, despite my concerns about the Atelier series and its undesirable tweaks over the last decade, there are elements here that I like a lot, elements that highlight each game's potential, such as fluid, traditional, turn-based combat and a regular 'coming of age' theme in the storylines.
"Fresh and exciting possibilities". Just last week, we shared the news that Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland is being localised for release in the west, but that's only the beginning for fans of the franchise. Thanks to seemingly decent sales and fan desire, it would appear that plenty more titles will soon be following suit.
"The PS4 version of FIFA 19 accounted for 64% of sales, with Xbox One accounting for 35% and the Switch version the remaining 1%."
"There's also a new game at No.3 in the form of NBA 2K19. The 2K title charts a place lower than last year's entry, although sales are pretty much identical. 65% of sales of NBA were on PS4, 33% on Xbox One and 2% on Nintendo Switch."
"Media Create published its weekly analysis of last week’s results on the Japanese gaming market, and it included some interesting information about the performance of the top-ranked game, Warriors Orochi 4.
The firm starts by repeating what we already knew from Wednesday’s top-20 charts, with the game selling just north of 124,000 units in total, among which 100,831 were on PS4, over four times as many units compared to the Switch version, which sold 23,660 copies."
