Hellsweeper VR Review | Hey Poor Player

Shame such a low score. It does seem to me to a bit too busy with all that’s going on on screen to keep track of, for me anyway.

I thought so too from the first trailer. All I wanted from them was a remake or remaster of Sairento like the Wanderer Reboot or Arashi: Final Cut. Oh well.

Maybe they'll fix it or do just that and make Sairento even better.

Have you tried Crossfire yet. I own it but haven’t gotten a chance since I moved and don’t have internet service yet so haven’t downloaded it yet. I haven’t really seen anything on it since it released besides comparing it to Time Crisis iirc.

Hellsweeper I always thought looked too chaotic, but then again I did think the same for Sairento. Wanderer I wasn’t interest in before on the PS4 but this remake of it looks very interesting and some parts gave a The Last of Us kind of vibe. Arashi looks interesting but haven’t seen much of it or the original. Hope it plays like the flat screen game Aragami which I loved the first game and will soon be playing the second.

@abnor-mal I actually just reviewed CrossFire for the same outlet as the OP. I ended up scoring it a 3/5. The gunplay feels solid, there's a ton of weapons, and co-op is fun. Small, linear stages and dimwitted AI hold it back though. Still, if an arcade style take on CoD-style military shooters sounds good to you, it's worth checking out.

With Hellsweeper, were the inspiring parts far and few or just one and done never to be seen again mechanics?
