This game wouldn't be a from Software game if it wasn't hard. Make sure you staying in the air and keep moving I'm the first to admit that I find AC6 insanely difficult, so I've gathered my best tips here in a little tweet, hope it helps! this is early, chapter 1-2

🟦 Stay agile always, move, dodge and make sure to stay up in the air, the splash damage from the attack is what gets you.

🟦 Play all the training missions, they give you weapons and parts!

🟦 Play the Arena to unlock OS tuning, fantastic upgrades!

How are you liking it so far? Other than the difficulty, of course.

I've played a few hours and honestly, it's not really for me. I've played some of the old ones as a kid and liked em but obviously couldn't beat em lol. I am however a souls fan and love them all but armored core and other mech games just aren't for me. I've also tried Daemon X Machina and just couldn't enjoy it. I just dislike the fast paced combat and having the headache of being shot at everywhere while worrying about 4 weapons and the 4 separate buttons to use them, the ammunition, the right AC build, the energy etc. I much prefer just boots on the ground human against monsters and other humans like souls. I also just hate the briefing and boring story this game has for every mission. Gameplay and visuals are good but everything is so tiny and hard to see, all the standard enemies are like ants and easy to kill. Really, the boss fights are my only big positive thing I can say.

I'd say, definitely don't expect it to be like souls. Give a wait for sale if you're unsure.

So now they will focus on quality? lol

blackblades449d ago

To be fair, they the only ones. Square and other Japanese devs been lacking is quality for a long time and they made up for it in good games.

SilentZeroX449d ago

Capcom, Nintendo, and Atlus are far better than Bandai, and you can't really count FromSoftware as one of Bandai's studios.

blackblades449d ago

@silent yeah I know, i ment to put a few. Example square gives quality to FF, with SO and valkyrie nope. Koei quality been eh but there games are fun. Its not just Japanese though.

1Victor449d ago

Good let’s hope others follow them before the industry get too close to collapsing again.

-Foxtrot449d ago

Yeah…when they realised we’re not all massive suckers

Pepsi_Man3000449d ago

Absolutely insane that quality wasn't already a focus

H9449d ago

That's the most insane statement I have ever heard, it's basically saying "from now on we will try to make good games"

CrimsonWing69449d ago

I mean, why in the f*ck wasn’t this the priority from the get-go? Now that you see consumers aren’t going to swallow up your dribble for full price you have to make the announcement that you’re focused on making “quality” games now? What a joke.

jznrpg449d ago (Edited 449d ago )

Quality should always be the focus and that will get you $$$$. Though I have to say Bandai Namco has made some great games but some of their anime stuff could be better quality
