Baldur's Gate 3 Character Customization options (male/female & anything in-between)

CG writes: With Larian’s game offering characters based on real people, the options compared to some other RPGs are quite limited. However, there are quite a few options to tinker with, so if you’re desiring a non-binary female looking character complete with beard and mustache then knock yourselves out.

There is nothing in between.

Imagine being upset by a feature that nobody is forcing you to use. A feature that is based on something that is real, but will in no way actually impact yourself. And you could have easily just scrolled past and keep your bigotry to yourself.

Imagine being so angered by the truth.

@Dae

It's best to not feed the wildlife.

The character creation looks insane. I haven't decided the Tiefling, Drow or Orc.

Daeloki249d ago

Agreed it looks amazing! Hopefully they'll add more playable races along the way too. And it's a great tool for making character art if you're playing DnD too!

As for feeding the wildfire, I know, but sometimes it's good to at least call it out for what it is :)

I am more into VTM TTRPG, but I have been thinking about getting into some DnD 5e.

I agree. I think I would have done the same. xD

"I am more into VTM TTRPG, but I have been thinking about getting into some DnD 5e."

It's the other way around for me, I've been wanting to get into VTM but my friends (and me admittedly) are more DnD oriented, although we do play the occasional Call of Cthulhu or Deadlands to keep things fresh.

Even Though Larian Is Done With Baldur's Gate 3, I Believe The Game Deserves DLC

Danish from eXputer: "DLC for Baldur's Gate 3 could resolve some unanswered questions and offer more sought-after content for what is otherwise one of the greatest RPGs in recent memory."

Leeroyw2d ago

They made their point on DLC. Respect that.

See this is what damn near killed gaming in the first place, DLC! I respect a good game that’s already heavily content driven. Whatever happened to having a good game, playing it from start to finish, and then enjoying it for what it was and waiting for a sequel with a whole new outlook? I hate the fact that there are people out there willing to get nickeled and dimed by developers then complain about how we get pelted with unnecessary dlc.

I feel more devs need to do what they are doing. Tbh, I couldn’t care less if dlc was gone completely. I could go as far as saying dlc ruins game preservation as well. Not going to go too deep into that but basically Baldur’s Gate devs gets my thumb of approval.

The second game had me hooked right from the beginning. They make quality games.

Honestly, I'd like to see their take on a more science-fiction or space-based setting. But frankly it will be worth paying attention to anything they do.
