This looks almost unbelievably insane, like the perfect mix of open world RPG and epic cinematic set-pieces on linear games.

"The game was originally planned as a prequel to Black Desert Online but the development of the game eventually transformed into something else and the game changed to a single player game set in the same universe."

Hell yes!

Yeah definitely seems a bit too good to be true. Like they have every mechanic from every major.game from the last 10+ years. Just not sure if they can make it all fun to play and marry it with a good story and acting. If so it would be possibly the most ambitious game of all time.

spicelicka248d ago

Yeah exactly lol I saw so much stuff from so many games all implemented so smoothly that I'm like alright alright I'll believe it when I play it.

Wow interesting game! Fair downgrade from the initial look a few years back but still looks great and quite a ways a long systems wise. Still seems a bit vapor-warey to me with the amount of systems in place. Its like they combined GTA, witcher, Assassins Creed, God of War, zelda, and Red Dead all in one. Could be mind blowing, could be good at nothing with a lacking story, or may never release. Time will tell, but consider me interested! Plus....pole vaulting???

Slight visual downgrade but huge content/feature upgrade

MeatyUrologist248d ago (Edited 248d ago )

For sure! It almost seems too much to be honest. If they can make it all fun, sure but every second it was something new. Fishing, arm wrestling, fighting, pole vaulting, wagon jacking, magic, destructible environments, hand to hand, hot air ballons, ranged, shepharding, cat petting, rat wrangling, musical instruments. flying etc. Like are they trolling us or is this easily the biggest game of all time?

Ashunderfire86248d ago

Watch that in 4K that is definitely not a visual downgrade! That game is the most next Gen game I ever seen from an open world wow 😮! It’s the animations and destructible environments that really show off this game!

I'm usually not a SP game player, but i liked everything i've seen here. Excellent trailer. And the best part was the soundtrack, just epic. I'm already sold just for that alone.

Pole vaulting over fences? Day one for me.
