Cool love the steam deck. Hope valve return and make steam machines.

If they did it right this time and have the same type of focus for that as they do Steam Deck, that would be awesome. The problem when they did it before is that they just sort of threw out the name "Steam Machines" and some hardware standards, and then never did anything else to cultivate it. If Valve actually made an official Steam Machine, I might actually be interested.

Really just tells you how small the MacOS gaming market was even after all this time.

Yeah about every 7-8 years one or two major titles will either get Mac ports or launch simultaneously on Mac and we'll get a wave of articles from the Apple-obsessed writers at various game sites about how Mac gaming is finally turning a corner, and then it never does.

Last year a few of the guys I play PC games with and I were trying to find a decent RTS game we could play with our friend who only has a Mac. He couldn't figure out why MS didn't want to prioritize porting recent Age of Empires games to Mac lol.

That’s awesome, well deserved. I love my Steam Deck. Steam OS is fantastic at this point. I can do almost anything on Deck with desktop mode that I use my normal laptop for. Since launch it has constantly improved. One of my favorite devices ever

I don’t know if you have tried the Rog Ally yet. But if you have, how would you compare it to the Steam Deck? People keep talking about how great it is. I know the Rog Ally is more powerful, but I think the Deck is more efficient and the better value.

As someone who has been gaming nearly as long as gaming has been around (since the early 70's), you'd think I'd be against this. Having grown up with all the major platforms and the whole notion of physical ownership... but I'm not. i embrace this as it is a revolutionary convenience. And one i know for a fact many (especially here) have not even given the fair chance to use. I get it... i was there too. But now i have a new outlook on it. It really is a hell of an option if you just want to play with no commitments. By no means am i saying this should replace traditional gaming, its an option. And one that people should look at optimistically as a way to compliment traditional gaming. There is room for both to thrive.
