Microsoft release special controllers and suddenly their entire focus is solely controllers, not like Forza or Starfield are right around the corner.

Granted, Microsoft's exclusives have been somewhat lackluster with the exception of Forza Horizon & the odd surprise like Hi-Fi Rush BUT one department where they wipe the floor with the competition is peripherals. Sony LEs controllers are always very basic, my GoW Ragnarok one is very disappointing, the new spiderman one looks great though still can't compare to the Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, Starfield, Gears of War, the list goes on (controllers).

The point that has been made time and again is that everything up to this point proves the controller remark as true. I've been promised many things by otherwise causes of toxic histories. Look at the history and what has been done. Not the promise.

Also, having one or two good games after consistent years of draught and disappointments still doesn't prove the contrary.

Reaching is the defense you're trying to make to say their history isn't clearly showing the criticism to be true, whether you like it or not. Claiming others are reaching or now using mental gymnastics when it pertains to what you're doing. you're clearly reaching and doing your own mental gymnastics and think being the first to say those words to someone must make you free and clear of doing it. You defended the off-topic statements of MS focusing too much on controllers over games(which spans over 10 years of time) and bring up games not even out yet.

I have a peripheral for you that wipes the floor with anything Xbox has ever released.....it's called PSVR2. Also the standard dualsense that cane in the box with my PS5 kicks the shit out of any 'special edition' or 'elite' controller Xbox has ever made when it comes to quality and features.

Features? Absolutely, the adaptive triggers are a game changer and the speaker is underutilised but a nice addition for games. Though in terms of actual limited edition controllers, Xbox designs are actually leaps and bounds ahead of any competition Nintnedo or Sony.

I also find it funny that in your eyes a million different controller SHELLS somehow makes any difference to the technology that's IN the controller. I dom't give a shit if Xbox releases controllers with the works of Leonardo da Vinci or Michaelangelo on them....doesn't change the fact that they are all still last gen controllers with some lipstick on. Sony added to true next gen features to theirs which makes theirs way better....even if it only came out in one damn colour. "GAME changing peripheral" - yeah it's good tech but the point I am making is that xbox lead the way in limited edition and special peripherals. They also lead the way with accessibility options which you conveniently left out.

I've sent three Dualsense back now due to stick drift: Original white, Black and the Purple. It's a real problem "bud" with only one of my Xbox controllers having to go back and both sets of my joy-cons having to go back. Let's not pretend Sony's poor QC with regards to stick drift doesn't exist pal.
