The Master Collection will be the first appearance of older Metal Gear games on modern consoles, but it's missing some amazing features.
Ver.2.0.0 will be available for users on PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 4, Nintendo Switch™ & Xbox Series X|S beginning Nov. 15th, 2024.
I went back to MGS1 last month. Honestly, the voice acting and game are way beyond it's time. I had a blast. If you have not played it in some time, it's refreshing.
Its a masterpiece that has aged so gracefully. The controls may not be modern style, but they don't have to be, they just have to work well and be responsive, which they are.
You are out your mind if you’re thinking that. It’s still one of the best games ever made.

Nah nah nah. The game is way ahead of its time and is a better game than half the games they release this day and age.

When I pay $60 for a physical copy „master collection” of 20+ years old games, I expect to have the best possible version on disc not update on my console.
This collection was rushed out one year too soon, what a shame. Hoping that Vol. 2 is released in a better state.

Well one thing it won't feature will be the 'Ape Escape' extra mode as it's a Sony owned IP.
Mgs3 is only good in Subsitence due to the vastly improved third person camera. Also would mean that we wouldn't get the retro games, as these were bundled with Subsistence.
