Epic Games Store will give 5% on game purchases

Epic Games has recently unveiled a new rewards program that promises to give back 5% on every eligible purchase made on the Epic Games Store. The live program allows players to join for free, requiring no sign-up. Users are automatically enrolled into the Epic Rewards program by purchasing any game, application, add-on, or virtual currency, including V-Bucks.

The new initiative assures a return of 5% in Epic Rewards, credited to the user's reward balance 14 days post the eligible purchase. These rewards can be applied at checkout for future eligible purchases, which presents a compelling 'cashback' opportunity. The rewards can be stacked with other available discounts and coupons, potentially reducing the total purchase cost.

Epic Rewards can also be earned on eligible subscriptions in a unique offering. To avail of this benefit, users must agree to the latest Epic Games Store End User License Agreement in the Account Settings > Subscriptions.

However, Epic Rewards do come with an expiration date. Rewards remain valid for 25 months after being added to a user's reward balance. Therefore, users are encouraged to use them within this period to maximize their benefits.
