South Africa approves Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition
South Africa's Competition Commission has recommended the approval of Microsoft's proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, according to GamesIndustry.biz.
The acquisition, which is worth $68.7 billion, has already been approved in Japan, Brazil, Chile, and Saudi Arabia. But the tech giant still needs to convince the UK, the European Union, and the US regulators.
