With Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 set to release just months apart, players may have to ask themselves which will be the right fighter for them.
Elena joins Street Fighter 6 on June 5 with new stage, outfits, and balance update. Switch 2 version launches same day.
NVIDIA DLSS support for the Nintendo Switch 2 is set to be a game-changer, judging from the results seen in Street Fighter 6.
If it goes from 540p to 1080p, it means it's using DLSS Performance. That would be fine for handheld mode, but this is docked. It's half of the native resolution that you find on the Series S version.
Definitely gunna need ai upscaling for a handheld device. Wonder how well will dlss fair for the switch 2 in its lifetime.
Can’t help but feel a bit disappointed. Don’t Steam Deck run the games better than this?
Suddenly it doesn't seem worth the price increase. They really are 2 generations behind the competition.
is that really .. such a flex tho?
there are some thrid party games that are coming soon, or one that i know of, that has 1080p with 60fps on the switch 2, while ps5 and xbox has 4k and 60 fps.
i meanz at this pointz its already being left behind and its not even out yet.
im not sure if nintendo just doesnt give a fuck or if they are slowly moving away from 3rd part support.
Season 2 for Tekken 8 launched with drastic system-wide changes, including increased combo damage, and powerful plus-frame homing moves.
Simply Tekken 8, its not even a contest.
Tekken 8.
Tekken 8 looks like the better fighter
Tekken 8 by far. Not into Street Fighter much.
Street fighter 6.
I prefer the character designs and gameplay of street fighter over tekken. And the world tour mode seems to be a meaty single player experience and that's what i value in games these days.
Will probably pick up both though.
