I know too many people that literally give their toddlers a tablet with internet access and no parental controls and leave the room, simply because they don't care/know any better.

The online gaming community is WAY to toxic for kids imo. Wish it wasn’t the case, and while I don’t blame the game - too many troubled people out there to allow anonymized and unregulated interaction

Until you find your kids hiding in the corner of their bedroom with the door locked on a Kindle Fire begging strangers for trades/help looking like obvious vulnerable children in online chat. There is only one banned game in our house and it is Roblox.

My 8 year old nephew plays it and apparently he does get people asking to be his friend and talk to him but he ignores everything lol, just wants to play the game. But proper games are surely the way to go, he much prefers fun things like Earth Defence Force.

In all fairness, if Roblox was doing its job properly, that game shouldn't have been able to be published.

Accountability from the parents is just as important as accountability from the devs/publisher. Kids will always find a way to get at games like roblox, minecraft, and fortnite.

This seems like a paid fluff piece tbh. No way is roblox safe. There are tons of predatory micro transactions on roblox or are we forgetting last years article about it?
