Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can now play the Metroid Fusion game, which originally released on the Game Boy Advance system in 2002
"Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones should certainly be on the download shortlist for fans of the franchise or strategy games in general. Its predecessor — the first entry released internationally — is a thoroughly worthwhile introduction to some iconic characters in the series, but Sacred Stones holds its own in setting and plot, while featuring some feature advances. Another terrific GBA title worth catching up with." 9/10 - Thomas Whitehead | NintendoLife
Nintendo has today released a brand new update for its Switch Online Game Boy Advance library. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones has been added for Expansion Pack subscribers.
Sweet! The first GBA Fire Emblem game is my most played GBA title on NSO to date, which I finished. I never played this one before. I'll be jumping into this today!
Nintendo has wrapped up this week by adding three more Sega Genesis / Mega Drive classics to the Switch Online Expansion Pack. These titles include the original Streets of Rage, Super Thunder Blade, and ESWAT: City Under Siege.
Still overpriced, but I subbed for the first time after the GBA/Gameboy announcement last month.
This was such a great entry in the series, so I'm excited to play again. Glad this hit so soon, bc although strong, the GBA/GB launch lineup was very small.
So you’re telling me Nintendo has 6 retro systems on this service and they’re STILL drip feeding content?
Playing it right now. Its a crime it took so long to get this to the switch. But nintendo gonna nintendo and we’re all used to their style of “game preservation”. Anyway this game is absolutely amazing. I hope they add zero mission next.
The other day I finished Metroid Zero Mission with Retroarch on my phone, what I mindblowing game, using scaleFX shader that made it look almost like an HD remake and earning retro achievements along the way, together with save states, fast forward and rewind support, and I plan to start Metroid Fusion soon enough, I really don't know any reason to play this on a switch instead.
I got a GBA for this game. I’ll pass on the Switch version tho. I still got my GBA
