Not terrible but could be better. I had to prioritize framerate to get it more stable. No unlocked framerate option as well which is disappointing. This is tecmo and team ninja whom typically aren't great with pc ports.

just played the demo on steam, visually the game looks like it can run in 1060 gtx with ease at a lock 60 fps, even thou the recommended settings it says 2060 the game doesn't look like is that demanding, it actually looks like one of those cheap Chinese games that are usually very cheap visually and are horrible optimized, the anti-aliasing not sure if is working very shimmery everywhere, change from prioritized quality to performance(why is even this option here?, I thought this was a PC version lol) but still the framerate is the same 55 to 60 fps average maybe I had to restart the demo, will try later, but overall what it make me keep playing the demo is the combat, fast paced, blocking and countering are satisfying, also nice character creator ,can create a beautiful looking girl with nice face options included (not like those other games with orc girl faces only lol) , oh it has some physics in there (I know what you did there devs lol ;)) , cause of the counter mechanics I remembered Onimusha, was such a great franchise.

It's from the team that makes Nioh. Nothing cheap looking about it and anyone whose played those knows this game will be pretty good too.

This is based on a resetera post, on performance of a demo

So the pc version got botched as always?

antikbaka801d ago

at least atomic heart is very high PC quality

This happens at every shift to new generation of consoles. This time it's taken so long to fully transition to a new gen, we're not there yet, so PC ports have slowly gotten "worse" as the new consoles are being prioritized. It's not the developer's fault, most of the time, as it's easier to dial in a game for a fixed set of hardware compared to PCs that come in all types of configurations. This is not new.

Expect "bad ports" to get even worse this year as we finally move into new-gen exclusives.

demo builds can be months out of date, lets wait and see

I would not pre-order from the demo's performance/state, what a bad way to advertise your game.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Has Finally Surpassed 5 Million Players Worldwide

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has now crossed the famed 5 million player threshold globally, as announced by the developers on Twitter.

Elda418d ago (Edited 418d ago )

If it's saying 5 million players, most of those players are most likely playing through Gamepass especially when the game has only sold a little over a million copies.

Inverno418d ago

So this is gaming now? Counting how many people have bothered to start the game?

Just to please the shareholders.

Wo long was pretty lacking after nioh 2.... Here's hoping rise of the Ronin doesn't continue the trend

X-23418d ago (Edited 418d ago )

I have to be honest, I bought Wo Long because Nioh 2 was so good and thought it would be as good as said game. I ended up fairly disappointed in the end, Nioh 2 was much better. Perhaps if they make a sequel they will knock it out of the park though as this was somewhat the story with Nioh 1's progression into 2.

Interestingly, for streaming metrics, it is not if you started a show/series...what matters most is that finish it.
