Not likely to come to consoles unless PlayStation get a console exclusive deal cause these developers aren't gonna want to spend 2 to 3yrs getting this title to run on the Xbox Series consoles with its development problems. Possible could take longer than 3yrs.

I'd like this in VR. The first game was modded for VR and is still one of the best survival games. Got enough quality survival to chew through in the meantime on PSVR2 with Song in the Smoke and then, in a few weeks, Green Hell.

I'd take an original The Forest port as well though.

If you don't like survival games that's fine, but they're one of the kings of it. Steps ahead of what else is on the market within the genre.

Then another $300 or more just to play it online over the generation. Also spend more on games because you have one isolated storefront.

You could pay that, or maybe a bit more, and have a PC that's just as powerful. Or more.

And modding.
And multiple storefronts meaning better sales.
And several control schemes.
Access to configure your games however you want.

And it's also a PC.

Consoles are only good for people who don't want to afford the cost upfront. By the end of the generation you've ended paying the amount for a really good PC, just didn't get to experience any of the benefits.

We’re pretty much paying less than console owners. Game for us is $30. Maybe under $15 by summer with key sites. Console players have to pay $70, maybe $40 within a year.

So far the game is fun and great for groups of friends. Beautiful graphics. Fun gameplay. It’s an experience more console players like Sony and Microsoft needs.

Because the first Forest was PC only, and it was a bad game. Why would anyone want to the play the sequel? Yuck!

Loved the original. Grabbed it pretty much as soon as it hit early access.
I'm going to wait until the legitimate release for this one, but I'm glad they're doing great in sales.

again like the first one...there's no need for a base in this game. You can just run to each location, figure out what you need, come back or proceed with each cave..also a lot of caves are pure disapointment with skeletons with drinks.

Give the game a couple months, there's not much to do.

The building is very nice. There's already a log glitch
