WOW WWE 2k22 just got released and it will already be remove :(

nevin1280d ago

They probably want people to buy WWE 2K23.

Bobertt280d ago (Edited 280d ago )

Yeah it comes out in about 3 weeks and if we are being honest the 2K sports games are usually the same game as the previous ones with just a different roster and slightly better graphics so why pay $70 for the new one when you get the previous one for free.

Deathdeliverer280d ago

To be honest Pete, I only set up matches and let the cpu fight on the hardest difficulty. It’s a cool game but I realized a LONG time ago that that was my favorite thing to do on wrestling games so I stopped buying them. 2K didn’t even give the PS5 version.

"WOW WWE 2k22 just got released and it will already be remove :("

Just three months.

SonyStyled280d ago

Yea, really unfortunate for those looking to play WWE 2k22 once it’s leaves the service. But of course like these kinds of services you can keep the game downloaded until you have 2k23 if that’s your type of game.

Doesn’t look like the publisher found last years game on the service financially viable to continue for another 3 months with the new iteration coming out

Watch ‘em bring it back when the AEW game hits, lol.

These picks aren’t that great, obviously it’s entirely subjective but still

roadkillers20h ago

Control is $9. There's a lot of good games. It's just weird seeing games 5+ years old going on sale for $20. Back in the early 2000s, if a 5 year old game was on sale it would be under $5 at walmart.

Mr Logic18h ago

$11 in the year 2000 is $20 today adjusted for inflation.

FinalFantasyFanatic18h ago

Ever since the pandemic ended, I think developers are less willing to give good discounts, there's a few I've been waiting on good deals for, but 4 or 5 years later, they're not hitting below $50 (aussie dollars). Nintendo in particular are guilty of this, especially for their first party games.

BrainSyphoned19h ago

Mostly a whole bunch of titles from the subscriptions of the world at not cheap prices.

DickyD122618h ago(Edited 18h ago)

Literally read the title wrong and thought it was a list. That's what I get for trying to post articles first thing in the morning.

Amplitude9h ago

Rift Apart for 30 bucks is pretty good. Everything else here is either barely a discount or has been free on PS+

Angyobangyo3h ago

There are no free games on PS+, you're paying for a subscription service to play games.

MasterChief36241h ago

@Angyobangyo
Yes, I think we all know this. No need to be pedantic.

Duke1910h ago(Edited 10h ago)

I love browsing the PS store constantly, but the “sales” are pretty constantly shit imo. It’s always the same games on “discount”. I think better PS5 deals are found elsewhere for games.

Opening this list with Hogwarts Legacy at $47 tells you all you need to know

Oh sure… yeah, totally what I think of when I’m busy entertaining myself by gaming and breaking away from the norm mainline of highly profitable / incentivized concerns in the world
