I mean if call of duty can run on mobile devices and be extremely popular for its fan base on it why couldn’t the switch run it.

Obviously it will not be on par with Xbox and PlayStation consoles no one with a half a brain expects that. But it will run on it and still be fun which is what call of duty fan base cares about.

To have launch day release parity on Nintendo hardware, if the Switch & Switch 2 hardware requires too much time to port, Microsoft may offer Call of Duty as a cloud version running of Xbox Series server 'blades'.

Check out the DF video on WZ2 and MW2. The original Xbox One and base PS4 struggles with performance. It wouldn't be a simple case of lowering the resolution as they do that now and it's still hitting below 40fps on XBone and the base PS4, let alone a handheld console that can't even play it's exclusives without technical issues these days.

I wish people understood that the majority of call of duty players don’t care about things like that most don’t even notice. They just want to play with their friends and have a good time. They don’t care about frame rate or ray tracing or low resolution. Just look at how insanely popular call of duty mobile is that should be all the proof anyone needs the majority of people don’t care about that. Believe it or not there is a huge chunk of people that just want to have fun

It seems people forgot about Call of Duty Ghosts which was launched both on last gen and next gen. The last gen version had so much cut out and was such an inferior version it wasn't even worth buying but they launched it anyway. I expect something similar if they do Switch launches. There will likely be missing features and modes you would probably be better off just playing the free mobile call of duty game.

I mean we saw Call of Duty on the Wii, so yes of course it can exist there. The bigger question is, would it be any good?

I imagine it'll be like Control and Guardians of the Galaxy on Switch. Cloud versions. That would line up with parity.

They do not care about if any of that, they do not care if it runs well, if it's on par with current gen, if it's full featured, of even if anybody actually buys the game on a Nintendo console, the only thing they care is that Nintendo signed the agreement so they can go and with that improve their chances to get the Activision deal to close.

Probably. I mean switch users are used to low resolutions and framerates with the graphics stripped down. Don’t turn on cross play tho unless you hate winning.

They didn't say which Nintendo console, just that they were bringing it to 'Nintendo players'.

Realistically, by the time this deal goes through, and they port COD and it's engine etc, you're probably looking at Switch 2. I wouldn't expect to see this year or next years COD on a Nintendo platform, unless it's streamed.

I don’t underestimate switch cause I really do love how the Witcher 3 looks on it for real I turned up the sharper resolution option in the display menu it made everything pop better in the gameplay
