These unboxing videos are popping up all over, but they aren't all equal by a long shot. Some of them have ZERO clue what they're looking at, let alone what they're talking about! I thought this one was pretty good, though.

One thing worth pointing out is we really don't know if replacing the cable will be "a real pain" until it's covered on ifixit.com or similar. We know it's replaceable, which is a massive step in the right direction and removes the biggest worry compared to past headsets.

Extra points for unboxing at your grandma's house ;^p

Eurogamer was informative and funny, the ONLY one you need to watch.
Bless from KFG couldn't even work out adjusting the headset to fit yet says he plays psvr which is practically the same as a adjusting the VR2 headset.

PureBlood807d ago

IGN are useless with VR. They don't have a clue. They really need to hire VR veterans if they want to be taken seriously.

Profchaos807d ago (Edited 807d ago )

@pureblood. Absolutely agree IGN are clueless they had nothing positive to add to the VR conversation over the last 8 years or so and often cbf reviewing even the biggest VR games.
They then trashed psvr2 with clickbait style articles and really uninformed conversations because they didn't get invited to the early previews

MrNinosan807d ago

IGN's Scoville who's even on their Playstation Podcast was embarrassing to watch. He clearly have no idea how to use a VR-headset.

PureBlood807d ago

On the GT7 preview they did, neither Max Scoville nor the other guy, even knew what the PSVR2 controllers were called.

Meanwhile, actual VR sites and channels haven't even got to try it yet, let alone received their own.

Nice. Thanks my dude. Can you ask the AI to rank those in terms of quality and fun factor. Or do you have an opinion on which one of those are good? I’ll accept either.

MrNinosan807d ago

My AI friend came up with those:

After the Fall - oh yeah
Altair Breaker - if you like sword combat
Cities VR - If you like city building
Cosmonious High - If you need some fun or show friends
Fantavision 202X - if you liked the PS2 version, but in VT
Gran Turismo 7 - this is for everyone
Horizon Call of the Mountain - should be one of the best experience in VR together with Half Life Alyx
Job Simulator - Crazy fun in short periods
Jurassic World Aftermath - have potential
Kayak VR: Mirage - best looking
The Light Brigade - looks interesting
Moss 1 & 2 Remaster - best platformers after Astro
Pavlov VR - great shooter
Pistol Whip - amazing shooter with beats
Resident Evil Village - diapers or toilet paper, not included
Rez Infinite - for some, not for me
Song in the Smoke - looks so much better than the PSVR-version, great game
STAR WARS: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge - yes please
Tentacular - looks like fun when friends are on a visit
Tetris Effect: Connected - love it
Thumper - another rythmic music game
Vacation Simulator - like job simulator, fun in short periods
What the Bat! - looks like fun if cheap
Zenith: The Last City - played this for a year on Meta, great fun if you like MMO's

I can see No Man Sky was missing on this list, which is a must play in VR

Knushwood Butt807d ago

I think they said Song in the Smoke is a free upgrade.

hotnickles807d ago

Looked up a few trailers based on the recommendations from yall and the robot. You have sold:

- after the fall (just found out the headset vibrates wtf!)
- song in the smoke
- horizon (not a big fan of the main games but wth)

I already own cities and Tetris unless they are separate purchases.

MrNinosan806d ago (Edited 806d ago )

Glad I could help.
If you haven't already, take a look at No Man Sky.
