Changes to Final Fantasy VII Remake's story have already drawn plenty of Kingdom Hearts comparisons, so imagine what the real deal could do with FFVIIR.
Kingdom Hearts 4 takes Sora and Riku to Quadratum, but which other worlds will they explore?
It’d be cool if they just left Disney out, IMO. They haven’t really made much worth visiting in years and I have little nostalgia for the ones they have visited already.
Like someone else already said, I really don’t care about the newer Disney movies. So if the choice is between those or no Disney worlds at all, I’d honestly prefer they skip Disney entirely.
What I’d love to see is something like a Jungle Book world. But more than that, I miss the surreal atmosphere from the first game's worlds. Like Traverse Town, End of the World, or Hollow Bastion had this dreamy, mysterious quality that I feel has been missing in all other games.
New KH original worlds would be nice or even Square Enix areas like Besaid Island and Shinra. SE should be more proud of their own original creations not just Disney buttkissing.
Hesitantly I'd like a return of Pirates but for it to stray away from the movies with it's own plot.
A visit to Hawaii could be cool. There was a stitch world in Birth By Sleep but only as deep space. The 10 year gap may have to be explained away but it'd be cool in a vacuum.

I think they started shortly after KH3, I just keep forgetting about it because of how unhappy I was with KH3.
Kingdom Hearts vs XIII. I never thought about it til this very moment, but Organization 13 lends itself perfectly for Namura to finally realize his "vs XIII" vision. No wonder there was such a sudden push in 3 with that Verum Rex stuff.
Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link development has been canceled.

I'm kind of glad it got cancelled, we don't need another lore heavy game especially hidden away on mobile that might end up going offline years later.
Kingdom Hearts X, Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, Kingdom Hearts ReMind with all this Yozora stuff. Do we really need Missing Link to make things even worse before KHIV comes around?
It's sad because they gave off the impression that they were going to stop all this after the third game, where you wouldn't need to play other games to understand future games but they were even doing this in the third game with the Black Box arc along with the people in the robes wearing animal masks.
Namura won't let Link die, you can bet your sweet bippy he'll shoehorn whatever convoluted mess of a plot progression he wrote into 4 and 4's dlc
i sorta agree, the real issue is that kh in general has a different context in japanese than it has in the botched English version.
even other languages are based off the english one.
and then theres ultimanias that We are not privy to.
nomura has messed the franchise up abit with his nonsense spin off titles.
so yeh, im also abit glad it got cancelled, but, trust that kh4 is being developed with missing link existing in mind.
stick to the main entries, easier to follow and keep track without having to play random spin-off games elsewhere.
KH is over-complicated, and its a mess in storytelling. FF 7 Remake started this path too,someone stop this madness before its too late. :D
The original FF7 was my favorite game and story, characters for a long time, but with Advent Children and the games after it, i lost that passion for it
