FIFA 23, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and God of War Ragnarok tops UK December charts

Nearly 6.4 million video games were sold in the UK during December, a drop of nearly 8% over the year before.

2.85 million games were downloaded, while over 3.5 million games were bought physically.

Looks like those boxed chart info articles aint as useless as some make out. Physical still hanging in there rightly.

I really wasn't expecting the xbox series S and X to be down compared to last year. There's been a MASSIVE marketing push, with dirt cheap prices for the series S and I thought they'd manage more sales as a result.

The PS5 was up compared to last year, but I'm sure availability helped there. And God of War Ragnarok, of course.
