"Are you ready for the journey of your life? Deliver Us Mars lands on 2 February 2023 on PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store."
Happy Thanksgiving! The Epic Game Store's weekly free game is live now.
VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "If nothing else, Deliver Us Mars fares better at being an engaging sci-fi action-adventure despite missing several of the most typical genre tropes. Before venturing towards our neighboring planet, KeokeN evaluated its predecessor's limited & mismanaged design to find a better balance in its combat-less, human-centered tale. But is that enough on its own? Because while its new storytelling and gameplay tools feel more finely-tuned, nothing ever really feels utterly enthralling either. I felt more passion for some of its obnoxious bugs than Kathy's admittedly-tangible drama. And like her building uncertainty as she neared the conclusion, it’s tough not to feel the same."
WTMG's Kyle Nicol: "It might have a compelling concept, but a good premise just isn’t enough to carry an adventure by itself. The game suffers from really lacklustre visuals and a gameplay loop that just left a lot to be desired by the end of its runtime. A bit disappointing, considering how solid its predecessor was. However, if all you are looking for is an engaging sci-fi story with mysteries to uncover, and you don’t mind dealing with an above recommended amount of jank, then Deliver Us Mars can still be enjoyed."
Can't wait to play this
I had my criticisms for Deliver Us The Moon, but I'm genuinely down to see how this pans out.
Did not have the chance to play Deliver Us The Moon on Switch (the version was cancelled) but I am waiting for a sale to buy it on Steam Deck. This does look more promising to be honest judging solely by the trailer.
