How Apple Arcade Has Grown Quietly in the Shadow of Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation

Apple's mobile gaming subscription service has come a long way since its release in 2019, more than doubling its game library and offering subscribers new releases, remasters and updates every week. And it may have found its first flagship exclusive with Sneaky Sasquatch, a popular, lighthearted game about a Bigfoot-like character adventuring in the woods, hiding from campers and riding go-carts.

Over the three years since its launch, Apple Arcade has continuously added new games that cater to large audiences, while also spotlighting smaller developers who might've otherwise gone unnoticed in the App Store.

People like mobile garbage and will pay for anything their Supreme Overlord Apple tells them to pay for. So, no, it shouldn't be surprising Apple arcade is doing well.

That’s not why they practically give it away with everything. I get it for free with my Verizon bill and I don’t even use it.

A stipulation of Apple Arcade is you can't have any microtransactions in the game, so this is really just a thoughtless "mobile garbage" troll post. Plus, it's bundled and packaged in so many ways that you're not a smart one if you're paying for it by itself.

Lego Builder's Journey, Shantae, Dead Cells, Shovel Knight Dig, Samorost 3, Oceanhorn, Fantasian, Monument Valley 2. Most games I've seen have full controller support.

For a $5 gaming bundle that you should never really pay the $5 for, it's a hell of a deal relative to the crap that's in the other tab of the App Store and actually has content that makes mobile gaming less of a money grabbing joke.
