Need for Speed: Unbound review - the best Need for Speed in a generation - Eurogamer

Martin Robinson: "As it stands Unbound falls just short of that, but given how it delivers a Need for Speed experience that’s miles ahead of anything the franchise has offered in over a decade I’m not complaining. Here’s hoping EA’s bizarre handling of this fantastic game doesn’t dent its chances, and that Criterion gets to build upon its brilliant work for a sequel. Because then we really could have a Forza Horizon beater on our hands."

There’s no way the Luna player base is more than 50,000 people. I’d love to see their numbers

Plz no live service only NFS.
You already tried that with the reboot which was online only.

FinalFantasyFanatic138d ago

I can totally see them doing that again.

Just give me Underground 2 remastered

Fonsecap138d ago

Don't known if you're aware, but there is a modding team remastering the game in unreal engine 5, look for it it's looking good.

ApocalypseShadow138d ago

But no Burnout since you bought the competition to kill their game. And what's left of Criterion who stayed, were put to make your game need for speed. Don't care what ways it comes back. It's EA. No buy.

CosmicTurtle138d ago

They bought Criterion for their middleware engine Renderware I believe. But the studio was a bonus.

Burnout and Motorstorm were by far the best arcade racers. Forza Horizon is up there too.

Need For Speed is like that guy you used to kinda be friends with in high school who’s now a broke homeless drug addict but you still nod when you walk by, hoping he’ll get better. But he never will

I enjoyed NFS Heat but they never built properly on that.

When to expect a great one should be the question. Must be 15 years

Dandalandan117158d ago

Why can't they just give fans what they want?
Remake NFSU, NFSU2, or the original Most Wanted.
Or what about a new Burnout game perhaps?

Deathtracker158d ago

We've been waiting for these remakes since, like, forever.

badboyz09158d ago

I'll wait for Midnight Club😁

The_Hooligan158d ago

Same. They should remaster the trilogy. I'll buy it day 1. I still have all three for the PS2.

Michiel1989158d ago
