The original Final Fantasy is a testament to the simple brilliance of good game design.
While it was one of my first jrpgs a very long time ago and started the ff series. I don't know if I'd call it a classic. It's not even in my top 5
I do love it and it's simplicity But I think it definitely has some issues that are really hard to get passed for a lot of people today Like not being able to see if weapons are better without buying and equipping them Or how slow combat can be if multiple enemies attack
Even as an older gamer ff1 is pretty hard to get into now. Back on nes just didnt know any better. It was good af for its time though.
