Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds Launch Trailer

It will be interesting to see this in action. Today, Ubisoft announced that Lost Between Worlds, a new Far Cry 6 expansion*, is now available for $19.99, or as part of the Upgrade Pass, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, as well as Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games store.

Three cut-and-paste DLCs to the game so they can sell real DLC as a standalone. Good job Ubisoft.

No kidding. DLC for the game was not up to Far Cry 5 standards. They then tell us that was all there would be so having completed it all I deleted it. Now we get this.

FC5 DLC is a joke.. especially hours of darkness that you could finish with an hour (hours my ass)

The issue is ubisoft telling us there was no more DLC coming and then doing this.

Far cry 5 standards I had the gold edition and the DLC for that game was significantly worse the best DLC the mars alien game just felt like a fan mod however the worst dlc the Vietnam one felt like a totally broken boring slog.

It did seem to be indicating that. The biggest issue with the DLC was you had to complete it all at once. Die once, or run out of time and it was a do-over.

Why is it they do these short and rushed DLC's with ideas they could have possibly used for a brand new IP

Keeps money coming in that is used to offset costs or fund updates or future projects.

Pretty common DLC is a tactic most development studios use to give their game devs something to work on between big releases to avoid redundancies. Otherwise when a studio completes and ships a game with nothing else for the team to work on they're typically facing lay offs

Enemies looks like they're taken directly from Metal Gear Survive. Not a good look. 5 million earth years = 6-7 hours (according to some reviews). Also, $20 for a Ubisoft DLC, really? Yikes.
